- System Integration: The ability to connect the Fire Alarm system to other systems (Interlocking), such as activating the pressurized fan, unlocking the Fire Exit door (Magnetic Lock), and controlling elevators.
- Graphic Map: Create a diagram showing the locations of equipment installations so that security personnel can immediately view incident locations from the control panel (FACP).

- Preventive Maintenance (MA): Includes an annual equipment inspection program (e.g., smoke testing, backup battery voltage checks) to ensure the system responds immediately in the event of a real emergency.
